Support Beyond the Classroom

Whether your child needs additional support beyond the classroom, you’re homeschooling, or you simply want to support learning at home, we can work alongside your family to find practical approaches that fit your child’s individual needs.

Family Consultation and Support

Sometimes supporting literacy at home is not about doing more. It is about finding what works for your child and your family.

During an in home consultation, we will take time to get to know your child, hear your hopes and goals, talk about what is working and what is not, and explore the spaces, routines and materials you already have. Together, we will look for practical ways to make reading, writing and literacy activities easier to access, more inviting and supportive of your child's independence.

You will leave with clear, realistic ideas to try at home and recommendations for next steps based on your family's needs.

It is important to get together, discuss and prioritize what feels valuable, worthwhile and realistic for your child and family.

Homeschool Planning and Routines

Homeschooling does not have to mean recreating a classroom at home. We support families in creating learning plans, spaces and routines that work for their child and their everyday life.

Together, we can choose meaningful learning goals, plan your ELA approach, explore resources and hands on materials, and build flexible routines that support independence, engagement and progress. We can also help you make the most of your home environment by creating reading areas, accessible home libraries, writing and creation stations, literacy material storage, homeschool work areas, visual routines, independent activity choices and simple systems for rotating materials.

The goal is to help you create an approach that feels purposeful and manageable while giving your child opportunities to learn with greater confidence and independence.

Following your consultation, you will be offered support options and clear pricing based on your family's goals and needs. There is no obligation to continue with additional support.

Confidence and Partnership for Parents

When a child is struggling with early literacy, figuring out how to help can feel overwhelming. We can support families by planning alongside you, working directly with your child at home, or providing ongoing tutoring support. Our goal is to take some of the pressure off while giving your child the targeted support they need.
